Now the base of this spreadsheet is off of the spreadsheet template Ezra I Heart Romance shared last year (which the original base was from NovelTea plus other aspects of spreadsheets from Brock and Ali’s templates), but I added some things and made some tweaks here and there to create something more expansive. This is something that I have found very useful and I wanted to create something that would be adaptive to your needs. But I will admit that many of them don’t have what I need, and so I thought I would combine aspects of all the various spreadsheets that I like to bring together something that is more extensive on the tracking. And there are so many options out there for us bookish lovers. As a book blogger, I have come to appreciate what tracking books and blog goals can be in a spreadsheet. As book lovers, its always important and it can be FUN too, to track what we read, to accomplish our reading/bookish goals, and see the progress that we make in our reading. You can add the titles and authors to your list and go back to this when you have more time to read, especially if you have a vacation coming up, you could purchase books for the trip or download an e-book to your Kindle.įor people who love to read, the template is a great tool to keep a record of books to be read and those you have already enjoyed.Welcome to something new that I have been working on for quite a while now, and this has been something that I have been wanting to share. You could even add another sheet for websites with interesting articles. Alternatively you could have more than one Excel sheet, using one for books and another for magazines. You could tailor your list to include articles you have read in magazines that you may want to use in reference one day. If you want to add more columns with headers, such as the person who loaned the book to you, then it is easy to add a column in Excel. The columns are straight forward to use, with headings for the name of the book, the author, the type of book, any notes you want to add and the date you read it. This would also be an excellent tool for high school and college students. You could teach your school age child to use this template for keeping a record of reading assignments. The format of the reading template is simple and easy to use. With the Reading List template saved to your desktop in Excel, you can quickly add a book to the list when you hear about it.
We so often forget a recommendation we are given on a book. The idea behind the Reading List Template is to provide a reader an easy way to keep a record of the books that you either hear about or read reviews on.
